Time is running out to participate in the AIPS Sport Media Awards 2024. As we officially enter the last week for submissions, we remind all interested to upload their work as soon as possible to avoid missing the deadline. On Monday, 4 November, at 22:00 Central European Time, the aipsawards.com website will no longer accept submissions.
More than 100 countries are already represented in this edition, the seventh since the creation of the Awards in 2018.
If you have already registered, simply log in and submit up to two works published since November 5, 2023.
If you haven’t registered yet, please create an account, complete your profile, and upload your entries.
We offer nine categories, including the Young Reporters Under 30, available for those born in 1995 or later.
Submissions are free, and entries in all languages are welcome.
AIPS membership is not required. Open to all professionals.
In total, more than 300 journalists will get international recognition either by being selected as finalists, top 10, special mentions and continental rankings.
How to register, log-in and submit:
Create an account at the AIPS Sport Media Awards website: AIPS Awards Registration.
Log in using your email address and password: AIPS Awards Login.
Complete the “My Profile” section with your personal details.
Click on “Add Submissions.” Fill out Part 1, “Your Submission.” Select the category and, if applicable, the subcategory for your first submission. Write the title and describe it in less than 1,000 characters. You can include the relevance of your work, the challenges you faced, or its impact.
Fill out Part 2, “Files and Data.” Upload a link, a file, or both, depending on the category. Acceptable formats include PDF or Word documents for written articles, JPG for photography, or video and audio files. For a Photography Portfolio, upload three to five images individually. Links are also acceptable, provided they are not behind a paywall. If they are, please upload a PDF of the full article.
Indicate if your submission is in English (Yes/No). If it is not in English, please specify the language, which is essential for proper judging. Submissions can be in any language, and while an English translation is advisable, it is not mandatory.
Specify the name of the media outlet where the submission was published or broadcast, along with the publication date. Note: all submissions must be works first published or broadcast between November 5, 2022, and November 4, 2023.
Select Yes/No to indicate if the publication date is visible in your file/link.
If you need to provide proof of publication (e.g., a PDF, magazine cover, screenshots), there is a separate area to upload supporting documents. This section can also be used for English translations or transcripts of audio/video files in the original language.
If you are ready, select Submit. If you wish to make changes, go to “My Submissions” where you can delete, add, or modify your entries at any time.
If your first submission was in the Young Reporter Under 30 category, please note that your second submission must be in one of the other categories (Writing, Photography, Video, Audio). Only one Young Reporter submission per person is allowed.
To make a second submission, return to “Add Submissions” (Step 4) and repeat the process.
If you find any technical issues, kindly send an email immediately to info@aipsawards.com
That’s it!
