LAUSANNE, November 4, 2020 - As we approach to the deadline of November 9, the third edition of the AIPS Sport Media Awards is already considered a massive success both in terms of global interest and overall quality.
More than 115 countries are already represented, with figures changing rapidly and servers enduring a daily test, as participants upload their works in writing, photography, audio and video across the 8 senior categories or the three Young Reporter Under 30 subcategories.
All works must have been first published between 8 October 2019 and 9 November 2020 in order to be valid.
In this 13-month period, the huge impact of the COVID-19 pandemic changed the world, the society and the sporting world, but it didn’t change the spirit of our award — celebrating sport media excellence despite all difficulties, identifying the world’s best sports storytellers, encouraging the new generations to make a meaningful, exciting and responsible journalism.
